A lot of guys use the Norma 338 Lapua brass to work up loads because it shows signs of pressure sooner and then switch to Lapua. brand brass for the long haul. The Lapua and Lapua improved all have a reputation for being accurate and faster with the big bullets. so my choice would be the Lapua. The both go subsonic in the 1900 range so thats a wash but even there the 338 only hold about the same 120-150 energy lead all others in the 300 favor. But with that said as a hunting rifle I really like the 338NM.
