I went to Chamberlain. Started in Arlington VA, then transferred to the Jacksonville FL campus. I did the whole 3 years, minus a few pre-reqs I had completed while in the army. I feel that I got a great education and was extremely prepared not only for the NCLEX, but for real world nursing as well. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.7 GPA.

I feel like it’s really hard for nursing school clinicals to fully prepare you for bedside nursing, your role transition and orientation once you get a job teach you way more.

But now I hear that their tests are graded only pass or fail and that it will be difficult to transfer to another school in the future. It could be the NCLEX pass rate. Some nursing schools don’t really prepare you for the exam. I know that in 2017 they had quite a few students/classes failing the NCLEX from one of their Texas campuses. Every ad on YouTube is for that school, lol. I am currently at Ohio university completing their online RN-BSN program but am required to take a microbiology and chemistry course.
