The 'Mute the rear output device when front headphone is plugged in' option just mutes the speakers. For your Realtek, it virtually switches the audio device. Hello, I've played FFXIV 2 days ago with no problems. Today I launched the game, no sound. Restarted, no sound I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, still no sound. Whats weird is the game shows up in the task manager, has normal CPU and GPU usage, but doesnt show up in windows volume mixer or anything audio related.no Sound I was playing eariler today, everything was working as fine as it can be, but after a PC reboot , FFXIV is no loger playing music at all.
