The car feels amazing but it has some minor cosmetic damage and a few mechanical annoyances. My first and main concern is a whining noise coming from under the hood.

Topic starter. Hello, I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX, automatic with 125k miles. I occasionally hear a whining noise that increases when I accelerate. I think its the power steering pump or a seal. There is also some black liquid on the pump.
theres a slight "whine," if you will, in my car.. its nothing that sounds misplaced though. There's a humming/whining noise when stepping on gas pedal and immediately stops when letting off the gas. The sound is loudest around the front passenger area. Someone recorded a video with the same exact sound that I'm hearing. They never posted about whether they found what was wrong or not.
