It cannot be buffed so base damage is pretty lame with a rough 540AR at 50 Dex. However the Ash of War, if you can actually land it on players, mobs, or bosses, absolutely shreds. Other than that it's a pretty basic katana.

The good news is, if you end up not liking the Poleblade, there are alternatives. The Bloody Helice, Reduvia, and the infamous Rivers of Blood will be available alternatives that function on that same build.
