In summary, very happy to finally see one of these since it has been so long since any have been on the market. 1.I just took delivery, after 7 months' wait, of a stainless Marlin 1894 in .44 mag. In my opinion, this is the ultimate utility gun. SHTF, defense, rural cop patrol gun, cowboy action shooting, plinking, and lower-48 states hunting -- there is not much it can't do well, except VERY big game hunting, and long-range shooting.Dense and trufflelike in texture, this festive cake has a hint of whiskey that follows on the heels of the chocolate flavor. First is a Model 94, in 25-20 serial number 8014xx, as best I can tell the first number is a 8 and not a 3, but even with a magnifying glass I am not 100% sure. Second is a 1894C 357/38 Serial number, 92041xxx.
