This is a bit old, but in my experience, it doesn't happen to everyone, but the Steam port has this very rare bug where the steamapi.dll makes the game stuttery after the prologue, even if you uninstall and reinstall the game, verify integrity whatever. This Switch version of the game for me is the only other one I own that runs okay on the deck.
