They only honor the original owner for warranty as I understand it. The current owner knows the scope is good but is asking for too much. Regardless of use or wear, $350 for just the scope and stock 25mm is not a bargain at all.

In 1997 I purchased this setup and was gullible enough to pay $1,200 for it from a local camera/telescope retailer.
