In addition, check to see what your Escape considers cruising speed. 45-50 mph sounds a little on the low side for cruising. I would also replace your fuel filter and have a fuel pump pressure test run. My 2019 Titanium 2.0 Escape has for the last thousand miles or so developed a very disturbing "shudder" when driving between 40 and 50 mph, with trans shifted into 6th gear. While driving slowly and with a bit of pressure on the accelerator the car has a distinct vibration.

Since new, this vehicle has done nothing but leasurly back-woods driving. $40Miles round trip to work, no stop and go, and the few trips we took with it were no more that 350 miles one way.

Additionally, it has started idling rough intermittently and recently almost stalled. I changed the plugs, coils, and both MAP sensors. I noticed on my 2013 F E titanium , just happened a few times lately when leaving from a parking spot and it's noticeable when shifting from reverse to drive , even with brake pedal applied, as the vehicle moves forward a jerky or shudder feeling is felt for a few seconds.
