On the keyless system, all you have to do is swipe the keypad on the door with your finger and it unlocks the door. That is as long as you have the key fob in proximity of the car. I have not read how to disable that feature yet, if you even can. So StevenRFrancis is right, may not be a good idea to leave the fob in the car.
