617 posts · Joined 2022. #16 · Feb 5, 2023. Check the trunk seals and make sure no water is getting to your electronics in the trunk. I had water get in through faulty seals and destroy my PDC in my Charger. Shorted out all the wiring. Started with intermittent starting and having to be jumped.

Only symptom is it idles extremely rough, stalls if you give it throttle. It's easy to check for fuel issues, however. Simply try the ideal starting procedure (<5 seconds crank), pull a spark plug and check for fuel. If the plug is wet then you have fuel but either no spark or no compression.Intermittent no start condition. I have an intermittent loss of fuel pressure when starting issue that has happened several times. Every time it was cranks strong but was not firing. The first time it happened I didn’t check the fuel pressure but the second time I checked the fuel pressure and it was zero. When it’s running I have a good 50 ...I'd recommend tackling a problem at a time. The starter problem is probably the most important and probably deserves its own thread. But the STALLING! ugh - read on... RPM's would consistently fade below 500 upon deceleration (i.e. slowing for turns, traffic lights, etc.), shudder and then stall.

Probably a bad wiper motor. You would need to check for power at the motor. If it has no power then you have to trace back to at least the switch at the column if there isn't a control module in between. Others with service manuals might have more info for you. 2021 Durango RT TNG. I am having some issues with an extended crank on a brand new Durango. I had the dealer take a look, scan for codes, but nothing popped up. It is not all the time, but yesterday was the worst example. It cranked for about five seconds, pause very briefly, cranked for five seconds then started.

Didn't check to see what's happening out at the actual lights yet.
