I agree with this post 1/4 to 1/2 mix of thinner to paint. Either use JD reducer or any enamel reducer, not lacquer thinner. JD paint is a synthetic enamel. It would not hurt to buy some hardner from tsc or auto paint store to mix with your paint. May make it shine a little more and stronger as far as fuel and coolant resistant on hoods.
