Well, it kinda make sense, because when you create a Hive Prince character, you actually don't play as a ruler, but as an exiled Prince. Exiled Princes don't lives in hive villages, because they're not really liked by the others hivemen. The shopkeeper usally say "Hiveless bring madness". So it's actually ok that you don't start in a Hive Village. Deadhive Prince is a Race in Kenshi. Deadhive Prince is a subrace of Hive. This race is used exclusively for Fog Prince characters. Compared to Western Hive Princes, the Deadhive Prince is slightly more delicate in all of their bodyparts, with a 5 HP decrease of all their body parts resulting in 75 HP each instead of 80 HP. They also have a slightly slower bleed rate of 0.2 instead of 0.3 ... Thats how they work, sometimes they join sometimes they dont. It doesnt take too long though, just keep trying.
