Knotter is cutting the strings off too close to the knot it appears and sometimes the knot pulls apart. Not always though its intermittent. It will work fine for a few and mess up on a few.Also a very trouble free baler. Difference is this: the 273 needs to be fed with consistency to make nice bales either with proper window size or adjusting ground speed. The 24T can make a nice bale at slower speeds and even make nice looking bales if you want to make them shorter and lighter for easier handling.Tractor. Many. I doubt that there is any significant difference to the different years. The 14t balers made prior to the 24t have very similar mechanisms. They are very good balers and highly sought after. There is a million and one grease fittings on them. I like to grease them after 600 or so bales.

Jun 27, 2020 · What you need to do is clean most of the hay out of the baler, so that you can turn it over by hand. Then with the tension off, trip the knotters and slowly turn it and watch what it does. This should show you where the problem lies. Also verify that all of the hay dogs are moving freely. If more than one is stuck it will have problems knotting.
