The Mavrik is 2 degrees more upright than TM drivers out of the box. The Optifit thing is also very stupid as it doesn’t have a flat setting. Both the Titleist and Ping adapters have this option and are superior IMO. I think Callaway you either have to use a left handed adapter or source a tour issue dotted one that allows you to flatten.
I got a new driver recently and had a similar problem. When you take the shaft off, does the screw come right out? If so, the rubber grommet that holds the screw in place broke/came off and is rattling around in the head. Just shake the head until it comes out.
