However reading the i-693 instruction said that I don't need to submit it, if I came to US based on k1 visa. (Bullet #3, under Frequently Asked Question - Page 8 of 13).

Then I sent the medical RFE response and it was delivered on 30 November, 2020, but my status never got updated, it was still showing 29 October update. Today 18 February 2021, my status changed to 'New Card is being produced'. So it took about 80days after my response was delivered. Hope it helps to give a rough idea on time line and online ...
