Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.
I have had the slip light coming on and off for years. Finally, the ABS light came on as well. I took it to Nissan to have the code scanned (free), and he told me that a pressure sensor was bad and that the engine wiring harness was bad related to the passenger wheel speed sensor. They quoted me $497 to fix those items.
Vehicle: 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x (35k total miles) with lift and 295 tires. Have had lift and tires now about 30k no issues. When I start the Xterra I have the "Diff lock" and "VDC off" lights. As soon as I turn my wheel (about 45-90 degrees) the "diff lock" light turns off. Then the ABS, VDC Off, SLIP lights turn on.I Start my X today after dinner and the service engine+SLIP+VDC Lights go off. WTF!! This is most likely the issue. I had these same lights come on in my G35 and after replacing the camshaft sensors, that fixed the issue. Had a similar experience 141k miles 6speed manual, VDC and Slip light stayed on. rough idle and fluctuation rpms when steady on the gas. Of course, it's due for the yearly inspection this month and I'm not sure it will pass in Texas with those four lights on.
try and disconnect the pos battery cable for a bout 10 minutes and see if this resets it make sure you have radio code in case ur radio locks. SOURCE: My brake, slip and VDC indicators stay on. Check brake fluid level, add fluid from sealed container if needed. Also check for leaking rear axle seals.

There were different light patterns but mostly it seemed to start with flickering Diff Lock light, then VDC Off light, then Diff Lock goes out and ABS, VDC Off, and VDC Slip are all on. It came with code P1839 and the dealer said faulty diff lock position switch/sensor. Replaced that (under warranty) and everything fine since.

My 2008 Xterra had the VDC/slip light on when it was delivered. Just took it back the next day and they fixed it. Not really sure what the problem was. They said the steering angle detector (or something like that) had to be re-adjusted and the computer had to be reset. After taking the clock spring out a few times and studying the issue, I noticed that the steering wheel/the alignment was off-center. If you read about the VDC, you will find that it is integral to the angle sensor. After much research and thought, I decided to ask the dealer to align (front toe) the Armada and then reset the VDC/Slip light.

Nissan Mechanic: Mike V. Ok, your biggest issue at the moment is the P0345, this is for the cam position sensor on bank #2. This will indeed cause the stalling issue you are seeing. The P0420 code means there is an issuie with the catalytic converter on bank 1. This can cause stalling, but in most cases won't.

Most generally when all of these lights are on, it is an ABS sensor and 4-wheel will not engage. Even though you may look at it and it looks ok it's really not.
