I have been to the Acura dealership of Baton Rouge Louisiana three different times in the last month for them to fix the recall idle start/stop issue. The dealership still hasn’t fixed the recall issue, but instead told me in weed a new battery ($400).If there’s no noise, start by taking a look at the parking brake fuse. After that, inspect the wiring harness going to the electronic parking brake. Verify that it’s not damaged, that the voltage level going to it is correct and present, and that the ground connection is secure. If that all checks out, your MDX may need a new electronic motor.The keyless access system allows simple push-button start. The car seemed to go into accessory mode instead of starting, and then I couldn't get it to do anything else: I couldn't get it to turn off, nor could I get it to start. And of course when I left the car to call for assistance, I was unable to lock it.
