Apr 27, 2019 · Reduced Engine Power and P2138 Code. Strange thing happened today. My 2016 1.5T experienced a check engine light and a "reduced engine power" message. This issue only occurred for a short time. The reduce power mode was cleared after turning off the engine and restarting. The check engine light turned itself off several minutes later.
