TOS is what I use for realtime charts. I use amp futures and their platform quantower to trade on. Basic data is $3 a month. $1.24 round-trip commission and margin is super low. $40 for an MES contract $100 for MNQ there are a couple other pretty cheap I think MYM and a couple others. Ninjatrader and Tradovate are two complete different systems. Let me explain NInjatrader is a locally runned program. Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice.

From my experience, if you are a manual trader, even very shortterm (seconds !), you wont notice any difference between TT and Rithmic feed.
