The Honda Grom’s break-in service is at 600 miles (1000 km) and is simply an oil change, idle adjustment, and tightening all the nuts and bolts to the recommended torque (basically giving the bike a once-over with wrenches and screwdrivers). You do a regular service on your Honda Grom ever 4000 miles (6400 km). I've never done a "Proper" break-in according to the Owner's Manual ever. Vary the throttle position, but don't run prolonged WOT (Running Wide Open for hours at a time, usually.) for the first 600 or so miles and then change the engine and transmission oil.
