I just am not impressed with the dark moon greatsword,moved to the royal greatsword and never looked back. The buff was mostly a QoL thing imo : Moonlight Greatsword - Decreased FP cost. Increased cast speed and decreased recovery time. Increased the frost buildup effect during the skill duration.
Depends on your build really, if you are more magic based then darkmoon if not then royal. Royal greatsword is pretty sweet, and it does more stagger damage. The ash of war is quite good now too. str/dex are what the physical portion of the sword's damage scales off of. int scales only the magic portion. improve str/dex = more physical. improve int = more magic. the AR is both physical and magic damage combined. A weapon's damage is determined by all of the stats it has scaling with. Darkmoon has Str, Dex, and Int scaling.

They dont have the gravity hit effect like the starscourge do! I want to petition from to change that since onyx lord sword says it conceals gravity power within. This post doesnt apply to the starscourge greatswords. Those are cool on all fronts. Yea idk, the onyx swords might be bugged or something.
