When I'm finally defeated, I never get the "you lose" screen. I just get Anamoly detected and have to restart the game.

Fix for freeze/crash on Android. LE: official fix is available, update to latest version from Play Store (3.0.2+) I found a temporary workaround for all those freezes/crashes caused by last update. Until FN releases a proper fix for this issue you can try this: revert game version from 3.0.1 (bugged version) to 3.0.0.
