Lots of misogyny, toxicity, etc. But, tbh, it was way more eventful and kind of more ‘real’ and raw than future seasons. After season 2 I definitely think Love Island blew up more and contestants just think about their image/post-island IG numbers/followers hence it not being as raw or dramatic as before.
