Prior to moving here, we would usually spend 8 days, 7 nights. We always had a rental car though. So much to do and see in the area. Isle of Palms is closer to downtown Charleston, as is Folly Beach, but neither of them compares to Kiawah as far as natural beauty. The problem is--it's very expensive.
