I’ve been using a guide for the stones of barenziah and the last one I need is supposed to be in the reeking cave next to the thalmor embassy, but I go there and no stone, I know I didn’t grab it and I’m sure as hell not gonna go back like 100 hours to see if it was there when I did the story quest, if somone can point me to where it might be I would appreciate it.The cruelest bug of them all. Basically you climb to the very top of the log at the back of the cave, then whirlwind sprint to the escape ledge on the other side.The best way to get back in is to shield-bash your horse so it's head is in the gate, the mount it, ride through, shield bash the horse into the second gate, ride through that, then climb the wall left of the door with your horse and that should get you into the courtyard. From there you can go anywhere in the embassy. Originally the Dark Brotherhood stone and the Thalmor Embassy stone were the ones that you had one chance to get. They have since been moved to different locations so that you can get them. You still have to kill/join the dark brotherhood to get theirs but you can go into the cave before doing the Thalmor Embassy quest.
