Dec 14, 2023 · There was a prison that actually expanded where we used to live. We saw an electric company down in Citrus Grove that expanded on its land and made things unsightly in the area. We noticed it when we were driving in nearby Newell. The bottom line is, if someone else owns the adjacent property, expect the unexpected. Also, since a Villages handyman needs to do work in 3 different counties and a few different cities, I can imagine that it would be difficult to comply with every local regulation. Feb 17, 2024 · Discarded chairs are common. I've left everything from a used flat-screen TV to used Lanai furniture to a really ugly planter that was here when we bought the house. Reality is that you live in The Villages regardless of your address or zip code. Even if your zip is 32159, you will as easily get your mail if someone sends it to Lady Lake, FL 32159 or The Villages, FL 32162. It's the nature of this beast. Dec 10, 2023 · We've all heard there are over 2,000 clubs in the Villages. Actually there are currently almost 3,000 clubs listed in the Villages. This is somewhat misleading and when you think about it, not really as impressive as it sounds. When you look at the number of Unique clubs the number reduces drastically. By unique I mean Card Clubs for example. Only members can see who's in the group and what they post. Visible. Anyone can find this group. History A sinkhole is draining the lake on Hacienda Lakes course, hole 5 — as well as severely lowering the lake off Panama Pl, that feeds it. Both The Villages and Golf course are aware of issue, but nothing has been done so far. Hopefully the golf course will address it before both lakes go dry.
