The tikka is better over all. You can get a full howa set up for under 300. A base tikka will run 500-600. As always, Tikka T3. Not the lightest but in my opinion, best bang for the buck off the shelf. Money saved for hunts. Accuracy with any ammo. Trigger is superb. In all my time selling firearms, never had a Tikka returned for QC, cant say that about any other. The only one that was brought back was due to 300wm and customer flinching accuracy.

Each Tikka I have was easy to load for and I get 1/2 moa or better. The Ridgeline I can only get down to 3/4 moa for twice, almost 3 times, the price.
WKR. The Christensen is a “nicer” rifle than the Kimber Hunter, IMO. I like metal trigger guards and the magazine on the Kimber doesn’t do anything for me. If the Kimber were a Montana, maybe a different story. Personally, I like 700 clones because of the aftermarket support. Let’s me tweak things a little, if need be.Grand Junction, CO.
