The shifting was very hard and and I was also very concerned about screwing up the gears, until I found out there was a service bulletin out since March 2021.It's not hard to do. Just remove the axle first. Remove the tires and hubs, remove the large axle nuts, unbolt and remove the rear brakes and brake panel (4 nuts), and knock the axle out the right side. Next, just unbolt the center axle tube from the diff (4 bolts).
