How to emulate amiibo.
The files are Amiibo files for Animal Crossing villagers. My goal is to use my phone to emulate an Amiibo so that it can be read by my Switch. The way I'm doing this so far is having the phone "write" the data to an NFC tag (that I do not have), then holding it over my Switch when prompted to place the Amiibo. This, unfortunately, isn't working.
A virtual amiibo is detected by emuiibo based on two aspects: a amiibo.json and a amiibo.flag file must exist inside the virtual amiibo's folder mentioned above. If you would like to disable a virtual amiibo from being recognised by emuiibo, just remove the flag file, and create it again to enable it. There's also TagMo, to use an NFC-capable phone to create NTAG215 tags, or Thenaya to use a 3DS to do the same.
I read the Amiibo from a toy but I used the second read operation that let’s you pic from two options and I picked the bottom one on the flipper as using the normal read failed to emulate. It doesn't let you emulate amiibos, it let's the system use them. The o3ds doesn't have a NFC reader built in. If you want a cheap device that let's you emulate amiibos look up the amiibo power saves at GameStop. They are $15 and come with a puck you can flash to be any amiibo, There is a tut on a certain site.
