I’d go with the Hoyt, from my testing, the Hoyt VTM 31 was faster and quieter than all of the bows I tested. Those bows were the VTM 31, Execute 30, Ominia, Era, Carbon One, and SS 34. It was faster by 5-6 fps, and quieter by 4-5 decibels.

Felt like it was just a bit better in the draw cycle and felt better in the hand in my opinion. Wanted to hear others thoughts. Newer to archery and looking to upgrade soon. Joined Jan 31, 2023. 18 Posts. #33 · Feb 1, 2023. The Hoyt RX7 Ultra 34 is a great bow and is definitely a step up from the Mathews VXR 28. The Hoyt RX7 has a much smoother draw, and it is also longer and more forgiving. If you're looking to upgrade your bow, the RX7 is definitely worth it.

It would be cheaper to add limb dampeners between the limbs or buy an adjustable stab, like the crossover stabs on my V3X. If you don’t have a Phase 4, it is one of the top 2 bows Ive shot this year.
