Put on a skill/DPS build and play safe and let the randoms carry you. As long you you are not constantly dying / slowing them down most people with let you play with them regardless of your ability.

It allows a skill build that can do weapon damage, it allows a DPS build with a shield that doesn't break in a second and it allows a tank to do gun damage. I did it mainly with countdown (challenging) targeted loot backpack. You will see a lot of acostas bullsh*t backpacks. Every 2 matches you have enough countdown points to buy a exotic cache. For variety, Summit with friends farming floor 10 is also a good option. If that's get boring too, missions with targeted loot backpack.
No, its not. I got mine farming Lincoln memorial when the target loot was backpack there. Matchmake in heroic, ran 3 times. In the 3rd it dropped in the first 5min of the mission.
