Unless you have an ocean front room at the Ritz Grand Cayman, you have to walk a long way to the ocean. The Ritz Aruba, every room is on the water and the resort was built in 2013 so it’s fairly new. If the Grand Cayman is the place you want, check out the Kimpton. Prices are about the same and much newer hotel.
We love both beach and pool. Options seem to be: Ritz - obviously the highest end, seems to be a beach right at the hotel. However, with points the rooms aren't the greatest (basic 2 double or queen bed suite). Nov 2, 2023 · The Ritz Carlton in Aruba was fantastic. My husband and I went for a week and we have never been to Aruba. The Ritz was exceptional. The service and food are outstanding. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. We have never had service this good anywhere else. Nonna's restaurant is a must. We ate there 3 nights and the food is delicious.

Re: Ritz Beach Cabanas. 1 year ago. Save. We enjoyed a cabana on our stay. At the time it was $400 a day. That was about five years ago. I’m surprised that the price hasn’t gone up. The Cabanas are roomy and have a queen size bed. There’s a small fridge with water and tonic provided along with snacks like chips and pretzels.We actually like the Marriott better than the Ritz, because the pools are better and room upgrades have proven to be much easier. I know many others share my opinion on this. The Ritz is generally more expensive than the Marriott, especially when booked in advance. From the minute we arrived at the Ritz Carlton in Aruba, our thoughts of the cold weather at home melted away. Our room was spacious, clean and had an unobstructed view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the gorgeous Aruba sunsets everyday from our balcony. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout the resort.

Raw oysters (quite small) were ok, the shrimp was excellent as were the crab legs. They also had a bowl of lump crab meat out, which I ate a ton of. The smoked salmon was also delicious.
