Course description: ATMO 336 is the first of a two-course sequence presenting an introduction to fluid motions in the atmosphere. The course is divided roughly into three parts. The first part reviews the basic principles of fluids at rest, and introduces the descriptive study of fluid motions in terms of the kinematics of fluid flows.
